Sawled Construction is a small but mighty grassroots company located at Cranbrook British Columbia and servicing the East Kootenays. Sawled Construction specializes in new home building but has expertise in small commercial and agricultural related projects. Sawled Construction has focused on quality and hard work making them a trusted name in the industry.
Where We Come From
Born on the Alberta prairies in 1992 the founder Jon Toews has been building all his life.
- Early Inspiration
The passion for building started 2008 as a residential carpenter building many new homes in Lloydminster Alberta. Jonathan Toews the owner became a Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter in 2012 with the goal of always improving knowledge and expertise. In 2014 he shifted towards the agriculture and commercial sector building heated shops, storage facilities and garages.
- Enterprise
In 2023 Jonathan and his family moved to Cranbrook BC to start a new life. His new focus is residential, and small commercial. There is only one thing left to do, and that is work.

Sawled Construction is passionate about fostering strong relationships with the community of Cranbrook, BC, and is committed to giving back by supporting local organizations and events.
